These two are quite the clowns. This picture is Jpeg taking a play rest of about 4 seconds. They're adjusting to home life in leaps and bounds, and just can't get enough explore time.
Vista is still shy, and I think she'll always be a quiet, gentle dog. But she no longer runs to the crate to hide if I approach slowly. And if I sit on the floor, she's the first one on my lap.
If you adopt one of these puppies you won't have to spend any money on puppy toys. Their favorite is a peanut butter lid and they fight over it all the time. I guess I could buy another jar of peanut butter.
Outdoor News: They both learned to climb the stairs to the deck this morning. Now we just have to work on the climbing down part. They love the snow, and whatever breed they are is a hardy one! They're good for about 30 minutes of racing around the yard before they ask to come back in.
Sleeping Through! They came in last night at 8:30 and I put them in the playpen beside my desk. When I went to bed at 10:30, they were still fast asleep so I just left them there. They slept until 5 in the morning with no playpen accidents.
House Training: No poopy accidents in the house since day 1, and I think Vista has figured out that she shouldn't pee in the house. Jpeg, on the other hand, isn't interested in such foolishness. He's too busy working on a new mathematical equation: e = m (O I) c (another place to) p.

All in all, both of them are completely loveable. They will make wonderful family pets as long as the families in question don't want a Little Tiny dog.
