According to reliable sources, when a dog's temperature goes down to 99 degrees, she will have her puppies within 12-24 hours. Maggie has consistently been 100.04 since she arrived. The last two readings (12:15 pm and 3:15 pm) have been 99.5. This is a good indication that the big moment is near.
An even better indication is that Megan has six friends sleeping over for her 13th birthday party. And, as we all know, when it rains, it pours.
But I look at it this way: at least I'll be able to talk them into being quiet!
