Tiny No. 4 (on the right) was born in a pool of deep green liquid. I remembered reading about this in one of the four books and two sets of notes I printed out - something about a deep green discharge being normal after the last puppy. I was frantically looking for that section when Maggie finished cleaning off No.4. Jessie said, "How about 'when the green puppy is born, you know she's finished'."
A good laugh, but no ... she wasn't finished.
