Crate Training: I put him in the crate beside my bed, put a towel over the crate and that was it. Not a sound until 3:30, and then only the tiniest woof (the I think I have to pee or something woof). I took him outside, and then back to the crate. He slept until I got out of the shower at 7:45 !
House Training: No accidents in the house yet, so no opportunity for correction. He's found his special poppy-spot in the yard, and maybe we can keep it there.
Socialization: This morning we went for a walk with the big dogs, and I only carried him when we had to portage away from the bike path for a few minutes. He can run full-out for quite a while and if he isn't adopted soon I'll have to get rollerblades.
So the first day summary: what a great little dog! Very happy, strong and confident, even though he's had less than a day to adjust.
